Painted and Glazed Clay Salt Shakers


These are painted and glazed clay.

They were crafted in ceramics class at Community College of Rhode Island during spring 2007.

They took about three weeks to make.

These are two salt shakers.  They can actually be put to use in the kitchen.

Painted and Glazed Clay Tile


This is painted and glazed clay.

It was crafted in ceramics class at Community College of Rhode Island during spring 2007.

It took about one week to make.

This piece is a tile that is supposed to be hung on the wall as a decoration.  It features a painted heart.

Painted and Glazed Clay House

This is painted and glazed clay.

It was crafted in ceramics class at Community College of Rhode Island during spring 2007.

It took about two weeks to make.

This piece is meant to be a house from a dream, which is why it is surrealistic.

Painted and Glazed Clay Mayan Pot

This is painted and glazed clay.  It bears etchings in decorative patterns.

It was crafted in ceramics class at Community College of Rhode Island during spring 2007.

It took about five weeks to make.

This piece is modeled after a real Mayan pot.  It is quite tall, well over one foot, and wide as well.  It is not meant to be used, but rather appreciated by the eye.
